You’ve bought the commemorative thimble and mug. And you know the date! Now mark your calendars to take your commemorative sick day. Channel 5 will bring you “LIVE” coverage of one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the century, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Although minor details are still being kept secret, here is what we know so far:
• Instead of traveling to the ceremony via horse and carriage, Kate will be driven to the Westminster Abbey service by car. She’ll slowly pass the Mall (the road running from Buckingham Palace), Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Parliament Square.
* The service will kick off at 11 a.m. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, will preside over the ceremony and marry the duo.
• Once they’re officially husband and wife, the couple will hop in a carriage together and head back along the same procession to Buckingham Palace, passing cheering crowds along the route.
The “LIVE” coverage of the wedding will start from 3pm onwards on 29th April so get your cup of tea ready and sit in front of the telly and watch a new fairytale unfold.
